This mp3 jukebox is great for for storing a massive amount of music, either taken from your cd collection, or mp3 files - It typically stores approximately 150 audio compact discs.
It incorporates an IBM 6 GB, 2.5inch hard drive selected
for its rugged reliability.
Designed by Compaq, the Multiplay is an
audio industry first. The MP3 Jukebox includes Motorola's 24 bit
Digital Signal Processor, which provides high performance
and low power MP3 decoding, using licensed technologies
from Compaq. It also includes a USB interface
for fast and hot-plugging connectivity. It offers
fast direct digital transfers from a standard audio
CD directly to MP3 files on the player, and you can
also transfer your existing MP3 collection to It.
Advanced buffering extends battery life by turning
on the internal disc drive once every 10 minutes.
With the supplied high capacity lithium-ion rechargeable
battery, you get 10 hours playback time between charges.
