For a real taste of British history what could be better than wandering through the historic castle of Windsor.

Windsor Castle is the oldest and biggest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of Her Majesty The Queen. It was built nearly 1000 years ago and is made up of amazing State Apartments furnished with items from the Royal Collection, the St George's Chapel (burial place of 10 monarchs), and on the lighter side even Queen Mary's Dolls House (a masterpiece in miniature!)

Windsor has been a royal home for over 900 years and it is still a private home and Royal Residence to the Queen. The afternoon comes to a close with tea at the stunning Castle Hotel with its warm interiors and abundance of charm.

Your afternoon will start off with a tour of Windsor Castle, where you will see the State Apartments, the Drawings Gallery, and the 14th-century St George's chapel. Then it's off to tea at The Tower Brasserie and Tearoom, at the Harte and Garter Hotel . Here you will enjoy delicious sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream and a pot of tea or coffee.

Extra Details

Your voucher must be used within 10 months and is for two people. The Castle is open daily from March to October, 9.45am-5.15pm (last admission 4pm), and November to February, 9.45am-4.15pm (last admission 3pm). The Chapel is also closed every Sunday to visitors, but worshippers are welcome to the service. All dates are subject to availability. We advise booking at least 48 hours in advance.
