Buying this before my exams was such a bad idea, it's soooo distracting. It also makes studying twice as hard because I'm always tempted to turn the lights off for its full effect. This is a brilliant product, can't wait to try it out at the next party!

I have my Tuba set up in my bedroom, and with the lights off it looks amazing. I love all Mathmos stuff, but the way the tuba reacts to music is amazing. Fun and unique.

From the Mathmos design studio comes a very cool and unique light. It has two modes of operation - A colour faze through the entire spectrum or alternatively, the Mathmos Tuba can be set to react to music, cycling through a colour changing sequence along with the "beat" or your favourite tunes.
The Tuba creates the illusion of not really knowing whether the central space has depth or not. What looks like a solid illuminated disc in the centre is actually a brightly illuminated air space, enabling you to put your hand through it.
Moving your hand in front of the light will cause the light to switch from faze mode to music mode. There is also a music sensitivity adjustment on the back of the Tuba light. Overall, it is a truly magical object that will bring an element of fascination and class to any room.
