Kensington Palace was remodelled by Sir Christopher Wren in 1689 and has hundreds of years of royal history. Other such notworthy residents included George II, Queen Anne and Queen Victoria who was born there. More recently, the palace became the residence of Diana, Princess of Wales from 1981 to 1997. After your tour, you will make your way to the Orangery where afternoon tea will include salmon sandwiches, scones and a glass of Champagne. An elegant experience.

When you arrive you first visit the extraordinary temporary “Diana, a Princess Remembered” exhibition (on view until 6 January 2008), a journey through pictures, moving footage and interviews with people who knew the princess personally. This concludes with the stunning photographs taken by Mario Testino. You are then free to take the audio tour and visit the Royal Ceremonial Dress collection and the magnificent State Apartments. After your tour, make your way to the Queen Anne Orangery in the grounds for a tea with cake, scones, sandwiches and Champagne. The whole experience lasts for 2-3 hours.
