I bought 2 of these a week ago (one of each size) and have to say that they have provided the most fun for 100 notes I have ever had! I'm pretty new to helicopter flying but even I can control these (I was petrified before the 1st flight!). I now say I am a helicopter pilot to all the girls i meet. The fun continues...

I bought one of these for my brother in law at Christmas. It is really stable, simple to understand and flies well within a few minutes out of the box. It climbs really quickly and has a great range. It gives 15mins or so flying time on a charge. It is also really resilient to bumps and poor landings - it really was banging into things now and again, without damage. The manufacturer provides a full parts list, should you need any spares however. Great product - I have added it to next years Christmas list for myself!

Make your flying dreams come true with this achingly cool Swift S001 RC Helicopter. This large version is about 40cm long so is slightly bigger than our ever popular mini helicopters, and as you would expect it also delivers a huge adrenalin rush as you take it to the skies near you.

Thanks to a unique Flight Stabilizing System combined with the adjustable trimming control, this helicopter is a cinch to fly and even the most apprehensive novice pilot will have them hovering and buzzing around the room in next to no time. After you've soared, hovered, dove and completed your reconnaissance mission, you'll need to recharge your remote control heli before the next flight. A half hour charge (via the included UK mains adaptor) will give you about 15 minutes flying time.

It comes complete with a 3 channel control system, so you can control it in all directions (up/down, left/right, forward/back). Although it's built mainly for indoor flying, if you manage to luck out and get a completely calm day, you can pilot it outside too. It's also made from crash resistant material, so it'll withstand the odd smash a you get to grips with the controls.

Huge fun for kids and adults, it should only be operated by children over 14 years old. This S001 RC helicopter should never be flown near pets or small children.

I got this as a birthday present simply because I had broken my other bigger one, and was waiting for spare parts. I thought I could learn from this one and when the time came I'd know what I was doing. This Heli is mint! Absolutely love it. I've only flown it in the house so far. I've hit a wall or two but that just shows how durable it is, I'm getting the hang of it now. I was a bit doubtful about getting it because it looks small on the picture but its the perfect size for beginners, and then move your way up in size and power
