As essential as straws are for certain drinks (certain long cocktails just don't taste right without one), there is something disheartening about having to buy new ones all the time. Sure you can wash them up but it's just not the same - almost like using a tea bag twice. Another benefit is that we have found that drinks seem to taste better when using these cool metal straws as opposed to plastic ones.

Which is why we were thrilled to discover these stainless steel drinking straws (four included per pack). Not only do they look the business in a chrome finish, but when you've finished your drink you can bung them straight in the dishwasher and at the end of the cycle they are good to go again. The shiny silver finish means that there is nowhere for cocktail residue to get stuck, ensuring every drink tastes as good as with a normal, virgin drinking straw.

Slightly bent to rest over the edge of your glass, we reckon the Metal Drinking Straw is probably one of the coolest drinking accessories we've seen for quite a while, and with the added benefit of being chillable (store them in the fridge to keep them cold), they are also very useful.
