Space Invaders come from the classic early computer game and give that retro feel that is so popular. As the children of the eighties start to reach the professional heights necessary to actually control what is made and put it out, eighties chic is taking over!

Space Invaders originally took the world by storm in 1978. Famous for its simple game play, nostalgic sound effects and classic graphics, Space Invaders is the ultimate iconic image of early computer gaming. Originally designed as an arcade video game and manufactured and sold by Taito, progressing through the universe shooting up waves of aliens with a laser cannon was the preoccupation of many an early gaming addict.

How little we knew then about the potential for gaming! If only we could go back in time and present one of the early gamers with a couple of our modern classics on Xbox or PS3. Not to mention the level of PC gaming available! Sadly, until someone invents a time travel device ﾖ probably not long off ﾖ that is not possible. And even if it was someone might kill Hitler or something and then accidentally blow up the world. Maybe we should stick to making ice out of Space Invaders.

Cocktails need exciting shaped ice, so stick these in your mix and make your friends smile. Kids also love some Space Invader action so add these to squash and juice to create a refreshing and thirst quenching drink.
