While you might have a body clock that's tuned to Greenwich's atomic clock, others in your house may not. Give them a helping hand each morning and pander to your inner sadist by using the sonic alarm grenade to rouse them each morning. Simply stand open the errant sleeper's door, pull the pin and lob the grenade into the room.

After just seconds of its piercing wail, the bleary eyed, sleep-deprived victim will emerge from his or her room, weeping and desperate to get out of the house to avoid the new sonic terrorism in their bedroom.

The smartest thing about the grenade is that in order to turn it off, you have to re-insert the pin, so they have to find you and offer all manner of incentives for you to turn the thing off. '£50! Make it £60 and you've got a deal,' you'll cackle. Pure genius.
