I must look mad when I'm listening to my favourite Who and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd songs while crashing around with my sticks, but I can't help it, they're so much fun! Bang Bang!
Chris W, Newcastle (Drummer Ma -
If my son is any indication, these are guaranteed to put a smile on the face of any kid who's got an interest in music.
Ainsley Hammond, Newark
There's a Keith Moon in all of us, just screaming to get out. But while we can't all be international superstar drummers - and we're certainly very unlikely to ever be The Who's sticksman, a lack of any discernible sense of rhythm needn't be a bar to producing the sort of racket that'll have the neighbours up in arms and the local constabulary turning up mob-handed at your front door. What is a barrier, though, is the absence of a drum kit.
Or rather it was, until some bright spark came up with these. Rhythm Sticks are essentially two electronic drumsticks that have built-in speakers and produce drum effects as you wave the through the air. You can choose from classic drum beat, electronic beat, or cymbal crash, so you can hammer out Dirty Deeds by AC/DC without the need for a 20-piece drum kit.
The only problem you're likely to encounter is that as soon as you whip them out, there'll be a stampede to have a go. Much like a rock gig, really, lots of pushing, shouting and doubtless the odd lunatic crowd surfer. Is there more fun to be had with two sticks? We very much doubt it.

I got these for my birthday and I sat there for a good 4 or 5 hours hitting the air with the stix, following music from Scuzz. Everyone thought I was the craziest person to ever live... They are BRILLIANT!!!!!
