I hardly ever write reviews online but felt compelled to after using this for the last 3 weeks. Having a video baby monitor is a must for any mum as it give me piece of mind and I can see that my daughter is OK without having to go upstairs and risk waking her up as I go into her room. I did loads of research before buying this model and I found video monitors from 50 to 200 pounds and this one has features like that of a top of the range model. The night vision means it is easy to see my daughter at night and the fact that you can zoom in and also left/right, up/down is essential and works well. Has helped to distress my life a bit and would have paid a lot more than what I paid for this to get that!

Well, the product is as good as expected but can I also congratulate paramount on a great delivery service. The sent me an SMS an hour after ordering confirming delivery would be the next day and even gave me a 1 hour expected time slot so I did not have to wait in all day. Thanks.

Digital Video Baby Monitor With Colour Camera Kit. Pan & Tilt Infrared Night Vision Camera with Handheld Monitor/Controller.
This latest video baby monitor system operates on a digital wireless signal that is far more accurate and less prone to interference than analog systems. Most Babycam/CCTV systems sold in the UK are based on an analog signal that represent a much poorer signal quality. The signal is encoded between the parent unit for complete privacy and its digital technology stops interference from Wi-Fi networks so you get a clearer interference free picture.
Ready to go straight out of the box, the night vision camera features nine IR LEDs that can capture footage from up to 30 feet away in almost total darkness. When using this as a baby monitor, you can easily talk from the handheld video monitor to the camera in case you need to talk reassuringly to your baby.
You can easily control the Zoom in/Zoom out features on the camera from the receiver unit, and the high resolution display and anti-jamming technology mean the image on the LCD receiver is superb even in very dark conditions.
As well as colour images, this video baby monitor also transmits sound back to the LCD receiver unit. Picture/sound can be picked up to 200 metres away (distance reduced a bit if going through walls/objects). The receiver unit measures 12 x 7 x 2.4cm and its integrated rechargeable lithium battery lasts around 3 hours so you have the option of having the viewing receiver powered by the mains (with included adapter) or without mains power for ultimate portability.
UK power adapters are included for both the night vision camera unit and the video receiver, but both units can also be powered by their rechargeable lithium batteries (included) for ultimate flexibility. Got one of these for my sister that has just had her first child and she is over the moon with it. Was a bit concerned buying such a high tech gadget for her but she says it is easy to use. Recommended.
