Wow!!! My hubby bought me this as a birthday present and I did it last September. When he first gave me it I thought he was after my life insurance, LOL, but I had such a fantastic day it was the biggest buzz of my life and yes I lived to tell the tale! I will definitely be going back again this year, it was a blast and the staff were great, really put you at ease. 100% the best prezzie I have ever had. I brought the experience for my girlfriend for her birthday, not being the active type i was worried she would not enjoy the expereince, we both went, and had a great time at the Northampton venue. There is a lot of variation and they put you through your paces. My girlfriend said it was a lot better than she thought it would be and is now asking me to go to the Canada to do it for real. Your session will last around 2-3 hours. You will be kitted out in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet, then run through the basic manoeuvres on dry land before launching in to the river (please note that at the Northamptonshire location the experiences takes place on a unique and challenging man-made course and that this venue is closed November-March).
