At just 17cm long and weighing in at just 10g, the PicoZ isn’t likely to cause havoc should you lose control. That said, losing control isn’t particularly likely, since it’s a doddle to pilot and will see you performing aerial stunts that’ll put the Red Bull Air Racers to shame. It really can perform some awesome manoeuvres, and is built to withstand a few wipe outs.
News Flash! The PicooZ has just been entered into the Guinness World Records as the smallest remote control helicopter of all time.
It’s controlled via a traditional two-stick controller, although this is a controller with a difference: it’s also a charging unit for the chopper’s batteries. Simply clip it onto the controller after a death-defying flight and it’ll be juiced and ready to go. A half-hour charge gives you a solid 10 minutes’ worth of play.
Once you've mastered your Picoo Z, you may like to try challenging another two of your mates to a PicoZ race or trick challenge, made possible due to tri-band technology. Each colour helicopter is a different band, so you can fly up to 3 at the same time.

I never know what to buy my dad for xmas, but when I saw this PicooZ - it all become clear, normally after xmas dinner father falls a sleep in his chair, but not this xmas, it was flying lessons in the Pierce house. What a great gift. The problem was, we should of bought two of them, so that he could of used it constantly, flying one whilst the other one charged. Two words: Absolutely phenomenal! Although apprehensive at first, I have to admit that this helicopter is one of the most addictive, thrilling, exhilarating gifts I have ever received. It is seemingly indestructible and after several hours of persistent practice, the Pico Z's flying control and capabilities will astound you! All of my friends are amazed whenever they come round and I can't keep my Dad away from it - he's even considering buying one for himself! I've also noticed an added advantage - the battery charge time usually only takes approx. 20 minutes to fully charge which is less than is stated in the instructions (30 minute charge time) and although the maximum flight time doesn't always reach the alleged 10 minutes (6 minutes is the most I've managed), it's definitely worth the wait! A few extra tips that I've discovered: To greatly improve control of forward motion, stick a small blob of Blue Tac on the front of the helicopter. I found this incredibly useful when first attempting to fly and hover. Also, read the "Trimming" section of the Instruction Guide - once you've mastered this technique it's much easier to control and steer the helicopter, plus I noticed that the flight time increased. And don't worry about any accidents - I was petrified the first time I crashed it into a wall at top speed, but the helicopter was astonishingly undamaged. Incomparable to any toy I've ever had. Just had this delivered, it`s the best fun you can have indoors on your own without feeling guilty. 3 recharges and you’ll be flying this like a pro. Easy to master and flies in the minimum of space.
