Wall calendars are nothing new. Nor are books or collections of daily trivia. In fact, we're not even sure that wall calendars with associated "On this day" type information are totally unique. But we are sure that we've never seen anything quite like the On This Day Calendar.

But the really cool part of the On This Day Calendar, the bit we feel is totally unique, is the black square above each day. Because each of these black squares is actually a heat sensitive patch. Yup, a patch of magic stuff which reacts to heat. Just place two fingers on the patch and the heat from your hands will cause them to vanish. Take your fingers away to reveal an "On this day" fact. After a minute or so, the square will return to it's original black colour and the fact will be hidden once more.
