Want to watch your favourite TV shows, films and video clips while out and about? While iPods and Mp4 players have this capability, you need the patience of a saint, and a degree in computing to get the clips onto the player and in the correct format.

Help is at hand, though, with this neat little gizmo that plugs into your TV and portable media player, sucks out your movie, compresses it, and pops it onto your device. Hey presto, no computers needed. It will also record from analogue TV, cable, a set-top box, satellite receiver box, DVD or camcorder, provided there's an RCA jack output from your source.

The iRecorder also has an AV OUT for you to preview or play your video on your TV, so it's perfect for taking video clips to your mate's houses and watching them in full gawp-o-vision on their big screen.

The iRecorder is compatible with standard iPods, Nanos (3rd generation), iPod Classics or any other USB device media device that can play Mpeg4 files.

Please note: iPhone and iPod Touch users cannot record directly to iPhone or iPod Touch. However, you can record to USB drive and import the recorded video using iTunes.
