Wow! a home golf simulator for under £190 - amazing! I have had mine for 3 weeks now, and am really impressed with how accurately it shows where the ball would actually go. I have a mate who is a scratch golfer and he tested it with all variety of shots including draws, fades..... and he couldn't believe how good it was. I was also in the Harrods Golf department over the weekend, and they had a "home" simulator for £40,000 and I had a go and the functionality was no better than mine - anyway I could write loads more, but I'm off now to play the back 9 at St Andrews on it.....!

Unlike most home golf training aids, that generally require you to swing an unrealistic club at an unrealistic ball in order to pop it into an unrealistic hole, the Golf Simulator uses PC software to simulate a real round of golf on 18 of the world's best courses.

The Golf Simulator allows you to use your own clubs to play and thanks to the inspired Swing Groover ball and turf base, the whole experience is more like the PGA Tour than living room mini golf. Statistical analysis of your performances is also possible, so you can watch your driving and putting improve as you play. For the amazing price of £189.95 you get everything you need (except golf clubs and a computer) to practice on the world's best golf courses. Play 'The Open' at St Andrews in the morning, and then Choose an American course for the US open in the afternoon. You can play with up to 4 players, and you can set the sensitivity level of the simulator. It's very accurate at showing exactly how a real golf ball would end up, including distance, and left-right accuracy. A friend brought this to a party last weekend. What a night, mixed foresomes at St Andrews, Play off at Pebble Beach, then a 3rd round at Pinehurst, finally played St Andrews again as the decider. Finished at 4:30am. I am now ordering my own, great fun, in fact the best night we have had for ages. Can't wait to challenge my golf club playing partners to Pebble Beach on the next wet weekend.
