We have all done it, wound someone up by playing with a remote that just happens to work with the telly in the lounge – hilarious for us but a serious wind up for the poor recipient. The clever little gadget takes the trick to new heights, it lets you loose on the world, knobbling Joe public wherever we go.

Let's face it there are way too many tellies out there now churning out news, football, music etc, in train stations, airport lounges, doctor's waiting rooms, pubs etc. What ever happened to reading, conversation, quiet contemplation....we no longer get that opportunity. The TV B Gone lets you start your own quiet revolution.

This gadget will switch off virtually 99% of all tellies and virtually any device with an infra red port (don't use it in hospitals!). It works by having over 400 'off' sequences in its little brain and just keeps running until it turns the telly off and you let go of the button. It is mainly set to work only on TVs but will also work on LCDs, DVD etc.

Ideally you should be placed with 7 metres of the television set but in certain circumstances it will work over twice the distance. Just nip into a certain catalogue store to practice. This updated version for 2006 is even more effective.

If you do it discreetly enough you probably wont get noticed if you switch off your local pubs TV or Projector just as penalties are about to start in the footie game, but just in case it's probably only a good idea if you're a black belt in Karate....

Main Features
  • As it only has one button, it's incredibly easy to use
  • Point the key fob-sized unit towards a TV set
  • Press the button once (no need to hold it down)
  • The remote will then send out a sequence of "off" codes for virtually every television pointing it at the TV until it turns off
  • 90 percent of televisions should turn off within the first 17 seconds, although it cycles through every code in its database within 69 seconds
  • New improved European Version II
  • Turns off most TV's in under 17 seconds
  • Turns itself off after it has zapped the TV
  • A blue LED shines as it goes through the cycle.
  • CR2032 battery included.

Why anonymous you ask?? well after getting this little gadget I went down the local pub and switched off the tv showing the England match!! a brilliant little gadget highly recommended for chaos and lot of of laughs!

This gadget is very handy and very effective. It will turn off/on most if not all TV’s. It has worked on every TV I have tried. The remote is small so you can turn off the TV discreetly. Another advantage is that you do not have to hold down the button unlike other mini remotes. Also this is the new improved version so you can press the button and the sequence will restart. I have tested it countless number of times at the Chinese, newsagents and bars and it has never failed.

I have had one of these for years now. All the TV's in my local supermarket are off as soon as I walk in! The ensuing chaos is a joy to witness. At last, a cure for the boring telly heads in the world. YAY!
Skinz - Yorks
