Your session will last around 2-3 hours. You'll be kitted out in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet, then run through the basic manoeuvres on dry land before launching in to the river.* *Please note that the Northamptonshire course is a unique and challenging man-made course.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to contact your preferred venue to arrange a date for your visit. This voucher is for one person. No previous experience is necessary. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Minimum age is 14. You must have a reasonable level of fitness to participate in this activity. This activity is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, has skeletal and muscular problems, has respiratory problems or has recently had an operation. Please note that the Northamptonshire venue is open from March-October.

Wow!!! My hubby bought me this as a birthday present and I did it last September. When he first gave me it I thought he was after my life insurance, LOL, but I had such a fantastic day it was the biggest buzz of my life and yes I lived to tell the tale! I brought the experience for my girlfriend for her birthday, not being the active type i was worried she would not enjoy the expereince, we both went, and had a great time at the Northampton venue. There is a lot of variation and they put you through your paces. My girlfriend said it was a lot better than she thought it would be and is now asking me to go to the Canada to do it for real.
