For first time pilots, Hobby Zone's Fighterbird makes learning to fly easier than ever. Plus once you've earned your wings, the Fighterbird easily converts via an onboard programmable computer chip to Expert Mode, offering increased control response for exciting manoeuvres like wingovers, dives and even pylon turns.

The combat module allows dog fights between two or more Fighterbirds, and if one is hit by the beam of another it disables the motor for ten seconds. If you're high enough you can return to the fight, but too low and a forced landing has to be made.

It also features a revolutionary flight control system called Smart-Trak. With Smart-Trak, an on-board time-based computer adjusts control throws based on selected modes, conditions and throttle positions significantly improving the flight handling and performance. The difference is amazing, and the Fighterbird is the only airplane available featuring the Smart-Trak control system.

Should only be flown in a large, clear area in light winds.

I love rc planes, but the fighting element of the fighterbird is totally unique and I love it. Me and 3 of my mates have one each, and we spend a good few hours every weekend battling it out against each other.
