I encountered the DropStop recently in a top hotel in Sicily. It looked at first like a very classy attachment to the top of the bottle and yet so chique and effective. I was so surprised to find it was just a disc of metal foil! A brilliant idea, a talking point, elegant and totally practical. No wonder the Italians had gone for it!

The simplest of Scandinavian ideas for easy pouring, you'll never again get stained tablecloths from wine bottles dripping. Simply insert the disc in the bottle and it will fit tight against the side of the bottle, forming a seal which prevents any liquid from escaping from the sides.
