If you are looking for a simple to use high spec digital camera/camcorder, buy this. It's super portable, and the quality of the clips it takes is amazing. Also the fact it has a rechargeable batter means you will not be spending £15 a month on batteries as I do for my digital camera.

Got this as a gift for Fathers Day, and am amazed at how compact and functional it is. You will have to buy an SD memory card (recommend at the least a 256 Mb up to a max of 1 Gb)as the stock built-in internal memory limits you to less than a minute at the highest (VGA)resolution on video recording. With 256 Mb, you can record up to 15 minutes at VGA resolution(640x480), and nearly an hour at QVGA (320x240)resolution. Picture storage is same way. It also stores and plays mp3's, as well as video from other sources (but you have to use a software encoder to save outside video in a format (.as) the camera can play. I'm using mine bolted to a motorcycle helmet and filming while riding. EXCELLENT.
