As with the other iRiver players the Chrome X is Firmware upgradeable, this allows you to upgrade your player to accept future file formats such as AAC and MP3 Pro. The Chrome X has been released to target the lower end of MP3 CD players. Not all customers require FM radio's, bags of anti-shock etc some customers just want a sweet, cool looking CD player to play their music on... the Chrome X addresses all of these issue in one smart looking package.

UK and European customers please note the following : American prices may be cheaper but their specification is not as high as the official UK/European version. Our version comes complete with batteries and a mains adapter.... the USA version does not. Also, we are the official importers of iRiver products so please don't get stung with "grey" imports as they will not be supported by iRiver should your player become faulty.

- By applying iRiver's own special algorithm, the iMP-150 provides better performance against shock. At the same time, iRiver maximized the anti-shock function at the beginning of songs by adopting pre-buffering.
- WinAmp Playlist playback support
- iMP-150 can support Winamp Playlist as long as it has the filename extension *.m3u(maximum 20 lists)
