I think this product is a fab idea, but you have to make sure children who are young are not mistaking the container for the banana.

Everywhere I took my bananas, they got squashed. Like many of the other reviews, thanks to the Banana Guard, I too now have a nice & cozy, special place for my banana. No more Squashed banana!
